RelieFibre™ is a soluble dietary fibre made from partially hydrolysed guar gum. Guar gum is a water-soluble carbohydrate derived from the guar seed, and during hydrolysis it is enzymatically broken down into smaller units resulting in an easily dissolvable material with reduced viscosity, that does not form a gel and maintains the raw materials’ fibre content. This gives rise to a well-tolerated soluble fibre that is not associated with adverse gastrointestinal symptoms commonly associated with many types of fibre, such as bloating, cramping and gas production.
Other unique characteristics of RelieFibre are its true regulating activity on bowel movements, with no onset of diarrhoea associated with regular use, and being a Monash University certified low FODMAP fibre.
Another significant benefit of RelieFibre, particularly relevant for individuals with suboptimal gastrointestinal health, is the simplicity of the formulation, with no additives, chemicals, preservatives, irradiation or UV ray sterilising treatment processes used during manufacturing or in the finished material.
RelieFibre™ is an organic, Monash University certified, low FODMAP Certified™ prebiotic fibre. Containing organic Sunfiber® partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG), RelieFibre™ promotes the growth of bifidobacteria in the bowel, which contributes to gastrointestinal function and promotes bowel regularity.
RelieFibre™ is a natural-flavoured, excipient-free powder that is highly soluble for easy mixing, and is suitable for daily use to help support gastrointestinal system health.
- 1 tablespoon (5 g) once or twice daily mixed with 250 mL water
- Do not take powder alone, mix with food or fluid
